Why Duchess HR?

Is there a story behind your Brand name?
I am so proud to have posted last Friday about the Royal Cabinet Office allowing me to use Duchess HR as my official incorporated name. This was so important to me as the story behind my brand name relates to memories of when my father (who is sadly now deceased) used to love making model Duchess Rolls Royce cars.
Growing up, he took us to car events, Formula One, Vintage car shows and many more. He even built his own car in his workshop.
I carried on his love and have driven many cars, with Mercedes always being my favourite brand. It was with great pride that I got the opportunity to work in the industry for many years too. During this time, people got to know my story and jokingly called me the Duchess.
So when I started Duchess HR it only seemed fitting that I would use part of my history and something personal to me for my business. It makes me proud everyday. Whatever your story, or your reason, I hope you love your work as much as I do.
